Throughout my journey as a Christian there have been many, many times when I doubted my authenticity with the Lord, where I needed to get with Him alone and ask Him if I was really on the right path or if I was making it up as I went. I usually look for a random bench in a field or park or take a walk in an isolated wooded area. I belt out all of my questions and fears and then I look at the sky, desperately longing for some kind of assurance. Just like Hagar in the book of Genesis~ God has been generous and gentle with me in my vulnerability and began giving me a SINGLE PURPLE FLOWER that symbolizes I SEE YOU LAUREN when I see it. Just now I went to a random bench alone and voiced some confusions I had about life and then a couple of girls walked by and one belted out “no weapon formed against you will prosper” very loudly as they briskly kept it moving. I accepted the Word as my own and walked back to my children~ on the way back there was this beautiful purple flower, all alone and out of place. My Daddy put it there for me 💜. I don’t need more than that. He sees me. That is enough!!! He sees all of His beloved children. “You are [El Roi] a God of seeing. Truly, here I have seen Him who looks after me” (Genesis 16:13).
