Lawlessness in my neighborhood has evidently reached all the way down to traffic laws. The last week or so in the hood, I've noticed that people almost universally are running red lights at will on any street that isn't a main intersection. What's up with that? Did I miss a memo or something?

It started way before traffic laws dear sir. If you talk to teachers, parents around here are notorious for yelling at teachers when they dare to punish students for behavior. There is no such thing as personal property- you see something you want, take it. Who plans for a future? Live for the here and now and what's good in the moment. When arrested, there is no bail release and criminals let off with a pat on the hand. Parents don't teach morals- its the school's job to teach, not theirs. I could go on forever anput what schools are teaching, and its not biblical morals. There is no moral code, no consequence for sin. Light running is the least of the problem.

@Kate well...I know all of that. That's been swelling up for decades, but traffic laws? People have really become so rebellious that they won’t obey traffic laws? That’s just stupid.
